Refund Policy

This policy applies to paid SpecChain subscriptions. Payments are processed by our payment partner acting as Merchant of Record — it appears as the seller on payment documents, and refunds are issued to the original payment method. We want buying to feel safe: try first, pay later.

1. Try before you buy

The Free tier is available indefinitely and requires no card. Paid features can be evaluated in a 14-day trial. We encourage you to make the purchase decision based on real work with your own product — before the first payment.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment

If SpecChain isn’t the right fit, contact us within 14 calendar days of your FIRST subscription payment (monthly or annual) and we will refund it in full — no questions asked. Paid features end after the refund; your data remains accessible on the Free tier and can be exported at any time.

3. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically; we send a reminder before annual renewals. If a renewal was charged by mistake, contact us within 14 days of the charge: we will refund it in full provided the service has not been materially used after the renewal date. You can cancel anytime in billing settings — access continues until the end of the paid period.

4. EU/UK consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights granted to you by mandatory law, including the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU/UK. For purchases made on behalf of a company (B2B), the sections above apply.

5. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address linked to your account, including your workspace name and the payment date. Approved refunds are issued by the payment provider to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

6. Exceptions

We may decline refunds in cases of policy abuse (e.g. repeated purchase-refund cycles) or violations of the Terms of Service. Custom Enterprise contracts are governed by the terms of the applicable agreement.
